Extreme 960H EX-View CCD 700TVL Res.

The new Extreme 960H CCD camera with 700 TVL is designed by super high resolution sensor with 960H sensor. The camera is a breakthrough of standard definition analog camera. Comparing with conventional high definition camera sensors, the new 960H camera sensor physically features 25% of the resolution which reaches 700 TVL. Moreover, with MINTRON’s developed intelligent functions of 14 bit dual channel DSP such as XDR (eXtreme dynamic range), XDNR (2D/3D Noise Reduction) and De-fog, the camera capability is much increased and the application is widely expanding. Therefore, the new 960H camera is more flexible to be applied in bank surveillance, industrial inspection, medical research, astronomy, border protection, and forest surveillance.

Challenged lighting functions:

The built-in video processing software, such as XDR, BLC and De-fog(Manual) allows the camera automatically adapt under various all-weather scenes, such as day time, strong light, wide range light sourcing, and dark outdoor and dark indoor. The camera also can be applied to harsh environment and greatly decreases exposure and improve dark scenes, remaining the best image condition.

Ps: The XDR/De-fog image technically is video processing by the 14 bit-dual channel DSP-IC, built with contrast image improver, controls Gamma (24 point compensation) and knee compression for adjusting each contrast level. When the signal of dark objects is amplified and random noise is occurred, the XDNR noise reducer with built-in DRAM in the DSP IC is able to reduce most of the noise to provide much clearer images.

Ultra low illumination:

The functions of IR-cut filter removable, slow shutter, day/night, AGC are the ways to increase camera sensitivities in the low light condition. In addition, the 2/3DNR is to automatically adjust the gain level which is able to remain the highest image resolution.

ICR (Optional): To support 2 modes, one is AGC control "ICR-Auto", another one is by external-trigger "ICR-Ext"
AGC 60dB (as appendix): When the sensitivity of CCD is not enough, the camera can automatically gain (Analog or Digital) to enhance the compensation of video output signal.
SENSE-UP: The function, also is called Slow Shutter, is to extend sensing time for fair bright image under low light. When under insufficient light, the camera automatically starts sense-up function. Conversely, when under sufficient light, the camera automatically turns off sense-up function by extending CCD sensing time and allows sensing more light. 4X is instead of the lowest slow shutter at 1/60 sec * 4=1/15 sec.
XDNR (2D/ 3D Noise Reduction) (as appendix)
When the sensitivity of CCD is not enough, Auto Gain Control (AGC) will automatically increase the brightness of images, simultaneously, it causes noise and color spots. By the noise reduction technology, XDNR (2D/3D Noise Reduction) in firmware, the camera can reduce much noise ( increase S/N ratio) to remain the original resolution under low light condition and minimum the recording space.
